Convergence performance comparisons of PID, MRAC, and PID+MRAC hybrid controller

摘要:

This study proposes a hybrid controller by combining a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control and a model reference adaptive control (MRAC), which named as PID+MRAC controller. The convergence performances of the PID control, MRAC, and hybrid PID+MRAC are also compared. Through the simulation in Matlab, the results show that the convergence speed and performance of the MRAC and the PID+MRAC controller are better than those of the PID controller. In addition, the convergence performance of the hybrid control is better than that of the MRAC control.

Reliability mesh convergence analysis by introducing expanded control variates

摘要: The safety evaluation of engineering systems whose performance evaluation requires finite element analysis is a challenge in reliability theory. Recently, Adjusted Control Variates Technique (ACVAT) has proposed by the authors to solve this issue. ACVAT uses the results of a finite element method (FEM) model with coarse mesh density as the control variates of the model with fine mesh and efficiently solves FEM-based reliability problems. ACVAT however does not provide any results about the reliability-based mesh convergence of the problem, which is an important tool in FEM. Mesh-refinement analysis allows checking whether the numerical solution is sufficiently accurate, even though the exact solution is unknown. In this study, by introducing expanded control variates (ECV) formulation, ACVAT is improved and the capabilities of the method are also extended for efficient reliability mesh convergence analysis of FEM-based reliability problems. In the present study, the FEM-based reliability analyses of four practical engineering problems are investigated by this method and the corresponding results are compared with accurate results obtained by analytical solutions for two problems. The results confirm that the proposed approach not only handles the mesh refinement progress with the required accuracy, but it also reduces considerably the computational cost of FEM-based reliability problems.

面向“互联网 +”的 OT 与 IT 融合发展研究

摘要:

运营技术(OT)与信息技术(IT)的融合成为工业数字化转型和制造业高质量发展的关键。本文开展了OT与IT融合发展的需求分析,从建立工业物联网、发展跨平台分析框架、开发开放性平台、推行基于云端部署的数据采集与监控系统等方面梳理了OT与IT融合的现状;提出了建立OT与IT融合的全套计算栈、持续推进工业互联网、加强OT与IT融合的安全保障等未来两类技术体系融合的技术路径。研究建议,强化OT与IT融合的技术标准化应用,建立包括评估关键资产风险、关注底层数据、加强检测系统开发、分离通信功能、应用人工智能技术在内的OT与IT融合的安全保障体系,以此为我国“互联网 +”行动在工业制造领域的深度发展提供关键支撑。

A new type of quadratic acceleration method

摘要: The polynomial acceleration method for time history analysis is presented, in which accelerations between several equal neighboring time steps were assumed to be a polynomial function of time interval. With a higher order polynomial used, a higher accuracy can be obtained, but the stability field of the method becomes narrower. When stability field and computational accuracy are taken into account at the same time, the quadratic acceleration method is superior to linear and cubic acceleration methods in choosing the maximum acceptable time step size. It is also shown that the quadratic acceleration method has desirable arithmetic damp, amplitude decay rate and period elongation rate, though its conditional stability restricts its application in stiff structures.

A frequency error estimation for isogeometric analysis of Kirchhoff–Love cylindrical shells

摘要: A frequency error estimation is presented for the isogeometric free vibration analysis of Kirchhoff–Love cylindrical shells using both quadratic and cubic basis functions. By analyzing the discrete isogeometric equations with the aid of harmonic wave assumption, the frequency error measures are rationally derived for the quadratic and cubic formulations for Kirchhoff–Love cylindrical shells. In particular, the governing relationship of the continuum frequency for Kirchhoff–Love cylindrical shells is naturally embedded into the frequency error measures without the need of explicit frequency expressions, which usually are not trivial for the shell problems. In accordance with these theoretical findings, the 2nd and 4th orders of frequency accuracy are attained for the isogeometric schemes using quadratic and cubic basis functions, respectively. Numerical results not only thoroughly verify the theoretical convergence rates of frequency solutions, but also manifest an excellent magnitude match between numerical and theoretical frequency errors for the isogeometric free vibration analysis of Kirchhoff–Love cylindrical shells.

Robust energy-efficient train speed profile optimization in a scenario-based position–time–speed network

摘要: Train speed profile optimization is an efficient approach to reducing energy consumption in urban rail transit systems. Different from most existing studies that assume deterministic parameters as model inputs, this paper proposes a robust energy-efficient train speed profile optimization approach by considering the uncertainty of train modeling parameters. Specifically, we first construct a scenario-based position–time–speed (PTS) network by considering resistance parameters as discrete scenario-based random variables. Then, a percentile reliability model is proposed to generate a robust train speed profile, by which the scenario-based energy consumption is less than the model objective value at α confidence level. To solve the model efficiently, we present several algorithms to eliminate the infeasible nodes and arcs in the PTS network and propose a model reformulation strategy to transform the original model into an equivalent linear programming model. Lastly, on the basis of our field test data collected in Beijing metro Yizhuang line, a series of experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the model and analyze the influences of parameter uncertainties on the generated train speed profile.

摘要: This paper considers multiple perspectives to explore the concept of high-speed railway (HSR), rationally abstract its value formation mechanism, and quantitatively measure its actual performance. This paper analyzes the governance potential of major countries in the high-speed railway value chain and studies the feasible ways and development strategies to enhance the high-speed railway governance in China. Findings of this paper are as follows. First, the government, as the early manager of high-speed railway governance, has given way to Siemens and other integrated enterprises. Second, the high-speed railway standard output has become the core competitiveness that embodies high-speed railway. Third, the global high-speed railway market presents a hierarchical high-speed railway governance model and changes to a modular approach to governance.

Exploration on Engineering Management Practice of China’s High Speed Railways

摘要: This paper explores the principal motivations and successful experiences of the rapid development of China’s high speed railway. In the perspective of the engineering management practice, the developers have studied and made prospective mid- and long-term railway network planning, including the four east-west and four north-south corridors as the backbone, the interregional urban passenger traffic corridors and the intercity railways, with a planning scale above 16,000 km. Under the overall coordination of the government, a high speed railway technology system has been formed with the China’s characteristics, by the way of sticking to independent innovation, of combining original innovation, collaborative innovation and integrative innovation, and of attaching importance to experimental verification. The target control system and support-guarantee system were established for the high speed railway project, enacting standardized management, strengthening integration test and commissioning, conducting strict acceptance, and achieving construction management experiences on the high speed railway. Finally, this paper proposes such issues worthy of attention and further study, as the improvement of the engineering decision-making management, the enhancement of investment and financing system reform, and the promotion of professionalization and the specialization of engineering project management.

战略性新兴产业多领域知识融合路径研究——基于引用网络和文本信息的分析

摘要:

针对战略性新兴产业开展技术融合过程分析,有助于深入理解产业技术的产生过程和发展规律,从而捕捉领域发展动向、推动产业健康发展。本文针对战略性新兴产业中呈现融合发展趋势且备受社会关注的高端装备制造、新一代信息技术、新医药、新能源4个技术领域进行多案例研究,以期识别出技术融合发展的路径和程度。采用基于引用网络和文本信息的知识融合路径分析方法,使用图神经网络同时将论文的引用网络、标题和摘要信息编码为向量;分析4个技术领域的论文数据,识别出了 5 条技术融合路径。研究结果表明,信息技术与数控设备技术、生物医药与太阳能光伏技术均呈现深度融合的趋势,且前者的融合程度更为深入;数控设备与太阳能光伏技术、信息技术与太阳能光伏技术也呈现融合趋势,但限于发展时间较短而显融合程度较浅;数控设备与生物医药技术领域尚未呈现融合发展的趋势。

Being good or being known: International reputation of high-speed railway enterprises

摘要: With fierce competition in the global high-speed railway (HSR) market, international reputation has become essential for enterprises to venture into overseas markets. However, few studies have been performed on the international reputation of HSR enterprises. This study aims to reveal the formation mechanism of HSR enterprises’ international reputation by developing a theoretical framework. The researchers identified five factors and proposed a hypothetical path model based on a comprehensive literature review. After the pilot study, questionnaires were distributed to practitioners in the international HSR industry for data collection. The path model was validated based on partial least-squares structural equation modeling. Eight of the nine paths are statistically supported. Researchers have structured a theoretical framework for the international reputation of HSR enterprises from two perspectives: Being good and being known. Subsequently, a strategic framework was developed to provide targeted promotion strategies for HSR enterprises. The findings of this study contribute to existing international reputation theories using the theoretical model and provide beneficial guidance for HSR enterprises to improve their international reputation through a strategic framework.

WEIS wheel speed real-time measuring method for VOSM

摘要: Wheel speed is one of the key parameters of vehicle operating attitude. To solve the problems in traditional wheel speed measuring methods, such as low measurement precision and the lack of real-time monitoring of the vehicle’s operating attitude, a wheel embedded intelligent sensors (WEIS) wheel speed measuring method for vehicle operating safety states monitoring (VOSM) is innovatively proposed. Radial acceleration signal is obtained through a WEIS module embedded in the hub. Using wavelet packet to implement wavelet de-noising for the non-stationary acceleration signals, and adopting short-time Fourier transform (STFT) algorithm to extract the signal characteristics, the wheel speed measurement can be achieved. The experimental result shows that under experimental conditions the speed measurement error is −2.05%, and the speed measuring response time is 0.45 s.
